Chemical Logistics Activities
As part of Dixie's commitment to Responsible CareŽ, Logistics activities are conducted with a focus on safety, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance.
Raw material receipts and product shipments are managed in accord with written procedures. Where appropriate, bulk storage tanks have vapor recovery systems or are vented to emissions control devices. Shipping and receiving employees are trained on DOT requirements.
In selecting carriers for our products, Dixie places significant weight on carriers who are Responsible CareŽ Partners and on their record of safe, reliable operation. Dixie works closely with its customers, providing audits, training, and design review for products that require special care in handling.
Procurement Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 to 17:00 (Central Time)
Dixie performs procurement functions for proprietary
and custom processing projects, including raw materials and
capital equipment. We handle manufacturing of customer products.
Dixie handles procurements for both Domestic and Export locations.
