Name: Eric Beatty

Title: Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Eric Beatty joined Dixie Chemical as Chief Executive Officer in June of 2017. He brings over 20 years of business leadership experience in the chemical industry, across a variety of markets and geographic regions.

Before joining Dixie, Eric was the President of Renessenz LLC, a manufacturer of high value specialty ingredients sourced from renewable raw materials. Eric led the company through numerous initiatives to improve top line growth, global customer management, innovation performance, and manufacturing quality, productivity and reliability. Prior to Renessenz, Mr. Beatty held a series of senior commercial and business unit leadership roles at FMC Corporation, in the US and Europe.

Eric has a BA from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Name: Michael Gromacki

Title: President

Mr. Michael (Mike) Gromacki serves as President of Dixie Chemical. He has over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry. He started his career in engineering design and construction practice, then later joined TOTAL S.A. subsidiary Cook Composites & Polymers (CCP). At CCP he served as QSE Director, Manufacturing Director and Vice President. Mike joined Dixie in March of 2009 as Vice President of Operations & Chief Technology Officer. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in July 2014. In June 2015, he assumed leadership responsibilities for Dixie Chemical Company and was formally appointed as President in March 2016. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He serves on several chemical industry boards, including the American Composite Manufacturers Association (ACMA), American Coatings Association (ACA), National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), Texas PACE Authority, University of Houston Chemical Engineering Advisory Board, and the US Business Council for Sustainable Development.

Name: Kelli Gregory

Title:  Vice President – Procurement and Business Support

Ms. Kelli Gregory serves as Vice President of Procurement and Business Support.  She joined Dixie Chemical in August 2014.  Kelli has strong and progressive experience in Purchasing, Human Resources and Training in the chemical industry, including prior service at OxyChem, AmericanAcryl and Lonza.  Kelli is a graduate of University of Houston Clear Lake with a BBA in Management.  She holds SPHR certification and is a leader in chemical industry workforce development initiatives at the local, regional and national level.  Ms. Gregory is responsible for Purchasing, Human Resources, Training, Customer Service, Marketing, Communications and Loss Control.

Name: Karana Shah

Title: Vice President of Technology

Dr. Karana Shah joined Dixie Chemical in 2013 as Technical Services Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Technology in 2016. Prior to joining Dixie, she worked for Zoltek (Toray group), a global manufacturer of carbon fiber, where she supported advanced composites in the the Composite Intermediates product line. Products she worked on included pultruded profiles and prepreg. Dr. Shah also previously worked for Evonik Jayhawk Fine Chemicals as Technical Service Marketing Manager for Specialty Anhydrides, and for TAMKO Building Products as a Research and Development Engineer for thermoplastic advanced composites. Dr. Shah earned her BS and MS degrees in Chemistry from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, MI . She earned her Ph.D. in Polymer Composites from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI.

Name: Matthew Swenson

Title: Vice President of Thermoset Materials

Mr. Matt Swenson joined Dixie Chemical as Vice President of Thermoset Materials in June 2015.  His early experience in the thermoset composites industry stems from the fiberglass and cast polymer business his family owned in Minnesota.  He later transitioned from manufacturing to sales and business development for companies such as North American Composites, Owens Corning Fiberglass and Cook Composites & Polymers (CCP), a subsidiary of TOTAL S.A.  At CCP, he served as Director of Distribution, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, and as CEO of the CCP Canada manufacturing and distribution business.  He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a BS in Business Administration.  At Dixie Chemical Company he is responsible for sales and business management for thermoset materials, including composites, coatings, adhesives and sealants.

Name: William Snyder

Title: Vice President of Sales – Fuel and Lubricant

Mr. William (Buck) Snyder joined Dixie Chemical Company as Vice President of Sales of Fuel & Lubricants / Functional Fluids in December 2015.  Buck has a strong background in engineering; sales and marketing; and supply chain management with more than 20 years in the chemical industry.  Prior to joining Dixie, Buck served as National Account Manager at TPC Group, principally supporting the lubricant industry.  Prior to TPC Group, Buck served at Phillips Petroleum and Chevron Phillips Chemical Company with progressive responsibilities from chemical engineer, operations manager, and later sales and marketing for various commodity and specialty chemicals.  He served an overseas assignment in supply chain management for Saudi Polymers Company, a joint venture between Chevron Phillips and a Saudi Arabian investment company.  Buck is a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a BS in Chemical Engineering and MBA in Finance.  He is responsible for the sales and business management of Dixie Chemical Company products used in fuels, lubricants, and functional fluids.

Name: Vinay Mishra

Title: Business Development Manager, Thermoset Platform

Dr. Vinay Mishra joined Dixie Chemical in August 2016 as Business Development Leader in the Thermoset Platform.  Dr. Mishra has 20 years of industrial experience and a strong background in product development and applications using epoxies, polyurethanes, methacrylates and vinyl esters.  He started his career as a scientist at BF Goodrich Specialty Chemicals (now Lubrizol).  He then joined ITW Devcon (ITW Polymers & Fluids) as a scientist, where he was promoted to Technology Manager.  In this role, he managed various functions including R&D, Technical Services & Quality.    He later joined Sika Corporation as Director of Polyurethanes R&D, driving the development and commercialization of adhesive and sealant products for automotive and construction markets. He has also worked for Royce International as Director of Technology & Business Development.

Dr. Mishra comes to Dixie Chemical from Air Products & Chemicals where he was Technology Manager Americas for the Epoxy Curing Agents business. He led new product development serving the composites, coatings, adhesives and construction markets.  Dr. Vinay earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Varanasi (India) and his MS and PhD (Polymers) from Lehigh University. He also received management training from MIT (Sloan) through an executive program. He is an active member of the industry, having served the Thermoset Resin Formula Association (TRFA) as President, Conference Chair and various other officer positions. He has also led the Training Committee at PDA (Polyurea) where he developed and taught short courses.
